An inspiring conversation with Leila on mindset and freedom
Hi Leila! Can you introduce yourself to our readers and share how you came to build your brand around “soft energy • bold moves • aligned living”?
Hello, my name is Leila. I’m someone who takes the time to truly listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help people reconnect with themselves. I work remotely, create long-form content on YouTube, and coach individuals who are navigating change, transition, and self-reinvention.
I wanted language that embodied the balance I’ve learned to cultivate in my own life: the power of feminine energy and surrender, the courage to take bold, intentional action, and the commitment to remain aligned with your deepest desires, regardless of perceived obstacles. That’s how soft energy • bold moves • aligned living came to life.
What prompted you to focus deeply on mindset, freedom, and transformation instead of just external success? What was the turning point for you?
External success is often a barometer we use to impress others. If we’re not careful, external validation begins to guide our decisions, often at the expense of our deeper, truer desires. For me, true change begins with mindset and personal transformation, because they shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Mindset shapes how we think, choose, and respond to challenges. And without valuing freedom and transformation, we risk stagnation.
There wasn’t one dramatic turning point for me. By consistently choosing to follow my dreams, I naturally came to understand the power of prioritizing freedom and transformation. They didn’t just change my path; they changed how I experience life.

Your YouTube and social content talk about living in Korea and navigating life abroad. How has moving or living internationally challenged or shaped you personally and professionally?
Professionally, living abroad pushed me into social media marketing and storytelling. Working at a Korean marketing company allowed me to create content and promote Seoul in a way that felt immersive and meaningful.
Personally, it taught me one powerful thing: I can bet on myself. I became someone who truly trusts her ability to adapt, to build a life from scratch, and to bring her visions to life. I learned that I can move through different cultures, environments, and seasons of life with confidence. Today, I see the world as my oyster. If I dare to dream and put in the work, the only real limitation is my comfort zone—and that’s something I now know how to stretch.
How do you integrate your mindset work into your daily life—for example, habits, routines, or tools you use to stay aligned and empowered?
I use journaling as a tool to clarify my thoughts, process emotions, and stay honest with myself. I also regularly revisit my goals to make sure they still feel aligned. If something starts to feel heavy or forced, I pause and reassess.
Most importantly, I pay attention to my energy. I’ve learned that alignment isn’t about doing more; it’s about acting from a grounded place. When my actions reflect my values, I feel empowered. When they don’t, that’s my signal to course-correct. Mindset work, for me, is a daily practice of self-trust, clarity, and conscious choice.
Many people struggle with identity, purpose, and change, especially when living abroad or being in transition. What common obstacles do you see in your coaching, and how do you guide people through them?
The biggest obstacle I see is fear: fear of the unknown, judgment, failure, and sometimes even success. Most people don’t lack ability; they struggle with uncertainty. If success were guaranteed, they would move immediately.
In my coaching, I help people connect with their why, create a flexible plan rather than a rigid one, and build tools to handle change as it comes. I also teach them to reframe failure—not as a setback, but as data.

You talk about “becoming your dream woman.” What does that mean to you, and how can someone start stepping into that vision today?
To me, it means fully owning the version of yourself you choose to grow into. The beauty of that idea is that it’s deeply personal. It’s not about fitting into someone else’s standard; it’s about honoring what truly matters to you.
Stepping into that vision starts with knowing yourself on a deep level: your values, your desires, your non-negotiables. It means intentionally designing the life you want to live. Once you’re clear on that life, the next question becomes: What kind of woman is capable of creating and sustaining it? That’s where transformation happens.
When you define that woman, you can begin to embody her, one decision at a time. Becoming your dream woman isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency.
How do you use social media and video content to authentically connect with your audience and build trust in your coaching work?
My journey with content really began when I decided to openly share why and how I moved to South Korea. My intention wasn’t to position myself as an expert. It was to give people the blueprint I wished I had and to let my real-life experience inspire them.
For me, authenticity means being honest, realistic, and informative. I don’t romanticize the process or oversell outcomes. That transparency is what built trust. And I believe that’s why people felt confident working with me when I created Roadmap to Korea.
Looking ahead, what are your next big goals for yourself and your brand? What new directions or adventures are you most excited about?
Looking ahead to 2026, my focus is on consistency, expansion, and evolution. On the brand side, my goal is to show up consistently with one YouTube video per week, build a newsletter that deepens my connection with my audience, and introduce a new coaching offer. Since Roadmap to Korea naturally came to an end after I left the country, I’m excited to create something new.
On a personal level, 2025 was very much a year of surrender and new beginnings. In 2026, with more clarity and direction, I’m stepping into a more driven, goal-oriented, and daring season of life. I’m excited about making bolder moves, expanding my horizons, and continuing to travel as both a source of inspiration and growth.
